THERE IS A WAR ON MEAT…

A pervasive anti-meat narrative has infiltrated Western society. We are told that we need to eat less meat to save the planet, save ourselves and save the animals. Regardless of the intention of its advocates, if seen to its conclusion, the anti-meat agenda has the potential to put humanity in peril. Animal agriculture forms the foundation of a country’s food security, sovereignty, health, and resilience. The removal of this societal backbone would have serious consequences. Philip Julius has identified the 7 main ways in which the war on meat could destroy our nations.

About the Author

Philip Julius’ interest in agriculture began when he realized just how precarious modern farming was. This led to him to begin a B.Sc in Sustainable Agriculture at the University of Alberta but he was disillusioned by what he considered to be a misuse of the word ‘sustainable’. Working at a vegan restaurant for several years thereafter and experimenting with the diet himself has given him unique insight into the ethos and shortcomings of the anti-meat movement. He aims to view these issues through a bird’s eye perspective, asking how they will affect Western civilization as a whole. He now lives in the UK where he is founding the beef organ supplement business GrassFed Gold, making plans to eventually get on the land to raise animals.
